Sarah has completed a Masters in Exercise Physiology. She is very
passionate about exercise and using exercise as a mental and physical
therapy.
She has gained experience working with clients with a variety
cardiovascular, neurological, metabolic and chronic musculoskeletal
conditions.
Sarah is well equipped to provide a professional initial assessment to
be able to evaluate an individual's functional capacity, as well as any
potential deficiencies or compensations observed. Sarah will then use
this as a base in which improvements can be measured during and post
exercise intervention.
Sarah has reached the level of expertise where by she now uses her
experience to provide and implement functional exercise programs for
her clients to enable them to reach a range of personal, professional
and fitness goals.
Sarah is proficient in rehabilitation for a range of conditions,
including diabetes, spinal cord injuries, intellectual disabilities and
chronic musculoskeletal injuries. She has experience in providing
exercise interventions using a range of modalities, including
resistance training, high intensity training, functional lifting
techniques and even implementing Pilates exercises to enhance core
stability.
Through Sarah's Exercise Physiology training and work experiences,
Sarah is applying and further implementing that knowledge enhanced by
Rehab Options Work Conditioning experienced team to successfully
Rehabilitate clients from workplace injuries including but not
necessarily limited to musculoskeletal injuries.
